Serving as Head Coach for more than 30 years, Kent Nicholson has a long and distinguished swimming and coaching history. A four-year All-American Swimmer at Drury College and three-time Norman High State Champion, Coach Kent returned to his swimming roots after attending law school. He currently coaches the Sharks and High School groups for Sooner Swim Club as well as the Norman High and Norman North high school swim teams. Coach Kent has earned numerous coaching honors, including six high school state championships and the 2019 Hank Enterline Central Section Region VIII Coach of the Year Award. His swimmers have earned prestigious recognition in the state as well as nationally, and many continue on to have very successful collegiate swimming careers. SSC Assistant Coach Pam Bradley has been coaching swimmers for more than 10 years. She began her coaching career with the YMCA team in Shawnee, Oklahoma and transferred to Sooner Swim Club when her daughter, Kaida, joined the team in 2021. In addition to her time coaching on deck, Coach Pam also manages many of the administrative aspects of the club. She does everything from scheduling tryouts, coaches, and swim group practices to processing meet registrations and selecting swimmer events. Outside of her role with Sooner Swim Club, Coach Pam is actively involved in Oklahoma Swimming as the Age Group Vice Chair. In her spare time, Coach Pam and her husband operate Bradley Family Farms.
